Raw Red Cabbage

1) 1 kg/35 oz of red cabbage or purple cabbage
2) 500 g/17 oz of red beetroot
3) 150 g/5 oz of carrots
4) some salt to taste
5) 1/2 tsp of cumin powder
6) 2-3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, according to your taste
7) 2 tbsp of olive oil
8) 1 small bunch of parsley leaves

Total Time: 10 minutes

1) Cut the cabbage into strips

Remove the withered leaves from the cabbage head if necessary, cut it into chunks, remove the stub, then shred the cabbage chunks into medium strips.

2) Shred the beetroot

Peel the red beetroot, then shred it into smaller pieces than the cabbage strips.

3) Season the ingredients

Season the ingredients with some salt to taste and toss in the cumin powder.

4) Pour vinegar and oil over the veggies

Pour apple cider vinegar and olive oil over the veggies, then combine them thoroughly and spread them into an even layer.

5) Do add carrots to the salad

Peel the carrots and shred them finely all over the salad.

6) Top the salad with parsley

Chop the parsley leaves and sprinkle them over the beet and red cabbage salad, then serve it as soon as possible.
