What ingredients do you need for the easy broccoli salad recipe?

Raw Broccoli Bunches

1) 500 g/17 oz of raw broccoli (fresh or frozen)
2) 10 tbsp of Greek yogurt (10% fat)
3) 2 tbsp of mustard, sweet or spicy
4) some salt and ground white pepper to taste
5) 1 tbsp of garlic powder/1-2 garlic cloves or to taste
6) 200 g/7 oz of Brie cheese or another creamy cheese type
7) some paprika for garnishing (optional)

How to make a broccoli salad appetizer from scratch?

Yogurt Broccoli Salad Recipe

1) steam or boil broccoli in salted water for about 5 minutes or until slightly soft
2) drain the water and wait until the broccoli cools to room temperature
3) separate broccoli into small bunches and place them into a bowl
4) place the yogurt into another bowl and add mustard
5) add to the bowl some salt, white pepper, and garlic
6) combine ingredients very well by hand
7) pour the yogurt dressing over broccoli bunches, then shake the bowl to enter yogurt everywhere and coat all broccoli pieces
8) cut Brie cheese into small and thin slices, top the salad with them, then place the bowl in the fridge for at least 1 hour to better combine the flavors (optional)
9) take the bowl out from the fridge and sprinkle over some paprika for a more appetizing look and more refined taste (optional)
