1) 1.5 kg/ 50 oz of boneless skinless chicken breast
2) 1.5 kg/50 oz of red bell peppers
3) 500 g/17 oz of yellow onions
4) 2 tbsp of olive oil
5) 500 g/17 oz of canned mushrooms
6) 800 g/28 oz of canned chopped tomatoes
7) 200 ml/7 fl oz of lukewarm water or chicken stock
8) some salt and ground black pepper to taste
9) 1 tsp of garlic powder or 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped finely
10) 300 g/10 oz of grated cheese (Parmesan, Cheddar, or another similar cheese type)

Step 1: bake red bell peppers in the oven
Step 2: wait 30 minutes to cool the peppers
Step 3: peel baked peppers off

Step 7: chop onions finely
Step 8: pour olive oil into the pan
