1) 1 kg/35 oz of potatoes
2) 100 g/3.5 oz of butter
3) a bundle of fresh greenery (parsley, dill, coriander, basil)

1) boil potatoes with the skin on in salted water until soft (20-25 minutes)
2) drain the water, wait to cool the potatoes for about 5 minutes, then peel them off
3) place potatoes into a large bowl and add over them thinly sliced butter slices
4) chop finely the greenery and sprinkle it over the ingredients in the bowl
5) season with some salt if necessary, then shake the bowl well to coat potatoes with butter and greenery

I often use dill and parsley in my recipe, but also coriander and even fresh basil leaves, depending on the main course I serve at the table.
