How to Cook Sausage Links in the Oven with Potatoes from Scratch

What ingredients do you need for cooking Italian sausage and potatoes?

Raw Italian Sausage Links

1) 3 kg/100 oz of potatoes
2) 2 kg/70 oz of fresh sausage links (Italian sausages)
3) 5-6 garlic cloves or to taste
4) salt and ground pepper to taste
5) 1 tsp of dried thyme or rosemary
6) 1 l/35 fl oz of beef/chicken stock or water

How to cook sausage in the oven with potatoes from scratch?

Cooking Italian Sausage Links and Potatoes in the Oven

Step 1: peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces that you put on the tray
Step 2: peel the garlic and cut it into slices that you put over the potatoes
Step 3: season with salt and pepper to taste
Step 4: sprinkle thyme or dried rosemary
Step 5: pour the beef stock into the pan
Step 6: put foil on the tray and put it in the oven at 180C/360F for about 30 min
Step 7: do remove the foil, lay the sausages over the potatoes, and place the tray in the oven at 250C/390F for about 15 minutes
Step 8: flip the sausages in the tray and bake them until golden brown (10-15 minutes)
