Step 1: peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces that you put in the tray
Step 2: peel the garlic and cut it into slices that you put over the potatoes
Step 3: season with salt and pepper to taste
Step 4: sprinkle thyme or dried rosemary
Step 5: pour the beef stock into the pan
Step 6: put foil on the tray and put it in the oven at 180C/360F for about 30 min
Step 7: do remove the foil, lay the sausages over the potatoes, and place the tray in the oven at 250C/390F for about 15 minutes
Step 8: flip the sausages in the tray and bake them until golden brown (10-15 minutes)

The preparation of the recipe is very simple, it does not require many ingredients and the preparation time is very short. Even cooking food in the oven does not take much time, so you can prepare lunch or dinner quickly and enjoy an extremely tasty and nourishing meal.
The flavors used to season the potatoes are common and most of us like them: dried thyme or rosemary according to everyone’s taste, garlic, salt, and pepper. If you want, you can replace garlic with red onions. You can also add fresh chili pepper slices or hot paprika if you like spicy food.
Despite its simplicity, this food is flavorful and, therefore, very tasty. You can prepare or buy your Italian sausages that include your favorite spices.
Not to forget, the time needed for cooking Italian sausages in the oven depends on their thickness. The cooking time indicated by me is for some medium-thick sausages.
Of course, if they are thicker you need more time, if they are thinner the cooking time is shorter. The basic clue is their color, when they are golden on both sides, the sausages are ready to serve!
