What ingredients do you need for cooking spare ribs in the oven?

Raw Pork Brisket

1) 3 kg/100 oz of pork brisket ribs/spare ribs
2) some salt/red pepper paste and ground black pepper to taste
3) 5-6 garlic cloves or to taste, coarsely chopped
4) 250 g/9 oz of tomatoes, coarsely chopped
5) 1 tsp of dried thyme
6) 3 tbsp of olive oil

How to make spare ribs in the oven from scratch?

Cooking Spare Ribs in the Oven

Step 1: cut the pork brisket up the rib bones
Step 2: grind some pepper over the spare ribs in the tray
Step 3: season with salt or salted red pepper paste
Step 4: sprinkle over some chopped garlic
Step 5: do add chopped tomatoes all over
Step 6: sprinkle dried thyme over the pork ribs
Step 7: pour olive oil all over
Step 8: pour about 0.5 l/17 fl oz of water into the tray
Step 9: do close the tray with foil and place it in the oven at 180C/360F for 1 hour
Step 10: do remove the foil and place the tray back in the oven at 270C/520 F for 20 minutes or until golden

Tips For Cooking Spare Ribs in the Oven

➡️ Pork spare ribs belong to my favorite pork cuts because are meaty and feature a very tender muscle type that remains juicy even after frying, grilling, or baking. As a result, cooking spare ribs make me pleasure any time, as well as the moment when I eat this succulent pork type!

➡️ Cooking spare ribs is very easy regardless of the way you do it. I like any cooking method but most often I cook pork ribs in the oven because the meat becomes very tender inside and browned outside.
