Cooking Tips for the Best Results:

  1. Use a good quality bolognese sauce: The sauce is the star of this dish, so it’s important to use a good quality sauce. If you don’t have leftover sauce, you can make a fresh batch with ground beef, tomatoes, and herbs.
  2. Add more vegetables: Adding vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or mushrooms can help to add flavor, texture, and nutrition to the dish. You can sauté them separately and add them to the pasta mixture, or mix them in raw.
  3. Use a mix of cheeses: A mix of cheeses like mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar can add extra flavor and creaminess to the dish. You can sprinkle them on top of the pasta mixture or mix them into the pasta.
  4. Cook the pasta until al dente: As with the Leftover Beef Pasta Casserole Recipe, it’s important to cook the pasta until al dente to avoid a mushy texture.
  5. Let the casserole rest before serving: Allowing the casserole to rest for a few minutes before serving can help the flavors to meld together and make it easier to serve. It also helps to prevent the casserole from falling apart when you slice it.
