Ingredients
  

  • 28/800 oz/g potatoes
  • 35/1 oz/kg ground pork
  • some vegetable oil
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 5/150 oz/g green onions or chives
  • 3.5/100 oz/g carrots, peeled
  • 1 bundle of fresh parsley leaves
  • 3 eggs
  • 14/400 oz/g phyllo dough (12 sheets)
  • some butter for pastry brushing (optional)

Instructions
 

  • boil potatoes in salted water until soft, drain them and wait to cool, then peel them off.
  • fry the pork mince in a skillet with some oil, meanwhile, season it with salt to taste.
  • chop the spring onions and peeled carrots, then add them on top of the blanched minced meat and fry the ingredients at a low temperature while stirring.
  • chop the parsley leaves and add them to the skillet when all ingredients are soft, fry for about 1 minute more.
  • wait about 10 minutes to cool the mixture.
  • season it with ground black pepper to taste and break over 2 eggs, then combine the ingredients well.
  • cube the boiled potatoes into very small pieces, then add them to the mixture and combine ingredients well.
  • unpack the phyllo pastry dough, separate 2 sheets, and brush them with some vegetable oil or melted butter.
  • dd 2 more pastry sheets just like in the video and brush them.
  • place 1/3 of the mixture over the brushed pie sheets into a strip stretched lengthwise (see the video).
  • bend sheet edges inwards, then roll them as tight as possible to keep filling inside.

  • place the roll on a tray coated with baking paper, then continue with the rest of the ingredients (finally, you'll have 3 rolls.)
  • break and beat the last egg, then brush the pies on top and sides.
  • make some notches in the phyllo dough to go steam out during baking.
  • bake the pork pie in the preheated oven at 200 C/390 F until golden brown (about 25-30 min)
  • remove the tray from the oven and wait for the pie to cool completely.
  • slice the pork pie into pieces of the desired size.
