  • If you want to add more vegetables to the soup, feel free to toss in some diced bell peppers, zucchini, or even frozen peas towards the end of the cooking time.
  • For extra flavor, try adding a few slices of ginger or a splash of white wine to the soup while it simmers.
  • If you prefer a thicker soup, try stirring in a few tablespoons of all-purpose flour or cornstarch mixed with a little bit of water towards the end of the cooking time.
  • To make this recipe even easier, use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken instead of raw chicken breasts. Simply shred the rotisserie chicken and add it to the pot with the broth.

Cooking Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Is A Breeze!

➡️ After all, cooking homemade chicken noodle soup is very easy, even if you are a novice in the culinary arts. You can cook the soup with a whole chicken or cut it into pieces while peeling some vegetables and seasoning the soup is children’s play, so only the very lazy could invoke any excuse for not cooking the chicken soup at home!

➡️ I’m among those who believe that homemade chicken noodle soup is the best kind of soup, right? I like to cook homemade soup that tastes as if it came straight from my mom’s kitchen. The kind that warms you up on a hard-working day or the kind that makes you feel better when you’re sick. I’m 100% sure that my home-cooked soup tastes better than the canned or boxed soup you can buy at the store. And not to forget, it’s easy to make, healthy and cheap.

➡️ Today, almost everything we eat has been processed and packaged. Even the most basic foods have been transformed into far different products than the ones we used to eat. Pasta has been turned into dried spaghetti strands. Corn on the cob has been turned into a sweet product that tastes nothing like the fresh corn we used to eat. The same goes for the chicken soup sold in the store. So, let’s go back to the simple and basic recipes we ate as a child and cook homemade chicken noodle soup again!
