Honey Mustard Chicken Breast

ℹ️ Indulge in the perfect blend of sweet and savory with my chicken breast recipe with a honey mustard sauce. You need just to marinate the chicken breast in a mix of honey, mustard, and seasonings, then sear and bake to perfection in the oven in a delicious mustard sauce. Serve with your favorite sides for a meal that’s both delicious and satisfying. Adjust ingredients to your liking for a personalized touch.

ℹ️ Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup (80g) Dijon mustard
1/4 cup (80g) whole-grain mustard
1/4 cup (80g) honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

ℹ️ Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary until well combined. Set aside.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.
Once the skillet is hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
To serve, slice the honey mustard chicken breasts and arrange them on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the skillet over the chicken.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for added freshness and color.
Serve your gourmet honey mustard chicken breast alongside your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp green salad.
