🍴 Pork Chops Are Tasty! 😋
Wondering how to cook pork chops best? I usually opt for pan-seared pork chops when cooking a quick dinner, baked pork chops when I have more time, and grilled pork chops when planning a barbecue party.
However, please be aware that frying and searing pork chops in the pan are two different things, even if they are pretty similar cooking methods. If you’re not sure what is searing, here is a short explanation: “Searing (or pan searing) is a technique used in grilling, baking, braising, roasting, sautéing, etc., in which the surface of the food (usually meat: beef, poultry, pork, seafood) is cooked at high temperature until a browned crust forms.” (Searing)
Cooking pork chops in the pan is an incredibly good way to prepare a quick but tasty dinner in no time. Even if the cooking method is quite simple, you have to pay attention in order that pork chops are seared perfectly without burning and without drying out.
🔥 Cooking Pan-Seared Pork Chops Is A Breeze! 💨
➡️ Cooking a pork chop can be a challenge for novice home chefs, but searing it well can turn out to be well worth the effort. To sear a pork chop like a chef, you’ll need just a cast-iron skillet and a moment of patience. After searing, let the pork chops rest for a couple of minutes, and then serve them up with a side dish or a veggie salad. If you’re feeling really ambitious, you can also make a sauce using a few simple ingredients like butter, flour, salt, and pepper (just like in the recipe below.)
➡️ Pork chops seared in the pan are a staple in my house. That’s because they are so delicious and can be prepared with a variety of seasonings. I make them quite often in my kitchen for dinner or lunch and have never had any complaints. 😉
