1) 6 chicken leg quarters (about 1,5 kg/50 oz)
2) some salt and ground black pepper to taste
3) 1/2 tsp of Provence spice mix
4) 1/2 tsp of rosemary powder (optional)
5) 5-6 garlic cloves or to taste
6) 3 tbsp of olive oil

How to make roasted chicken legs from scratch?

Step 1: do place the chicken legs on a tray
Step 2: rub the chicken legs with salt all over
Step 3: sprinkle over Provence spice mix
Step 4: sprinkle over rosemary powder (optional)
Step 5: grind over some black pepper to taste
Step 6: add chopped garlic to taste
Step 7: pour some water into the tray
Step 8: pour olive oil over the chicken leg quarters
Step 9: do place the tray in the oven at 230C/440F for 45-60 min or until the skin is golden and the chicken is soft inside
