Final Notes for the Vanilla Tart Recipe with Phyllo Pastry Base
➡️ Sweet tarts are some of the tastiest homemade cakes. Therefore, I often prepare them with various fruits that, in combination with vanilla cream, become irresistible desserts. One of the classic tart recipes I often make is French apple tart, also known as Tatin tart. However, sweet tarts can be prepared without fruit. A telling example is the vanilla tart recipe that I share on this page, created by me.
➡️ As far as I know, it’s an original vanilla tart recipe that I have not found anywhere else on the internet. This does not mean that such an idea did not come to anyone else, only that it’s not known.
➡️ Returning to the recipe, it’s extremely simple and contains few ingredients, so it’s accessible to anyone. Moreover, the preparation time is reduced, so you can quickly make an exceptionally tasty dessert with very little effort and resources.
➡️ To minimize the baking time, I’ve used phyllo dough bought from the store. Vanilla tart can be made using a classic tart crust too, whoever wants to prepare it can find the recipe here.
➡️ Also, the custard cream is a simple vanilla pudding that can be prepared in just a few minutes! Simple and handy ingredients do not mean that vanilla tart is not delicious! On the contrary, it’s so good that it is difficult not to take a second or even a third slice from the plate!
➡️ As for the almond flakes, it’s not mandatory to use them if they are not handy or you don’t like them. However, I recommend you garnish the tart with almond flakes both because it gives a special look to the cake and because the taste of almonds matches very well with that of vanilla. Of course, you can also decorate the tart with other ingredients, such as pistachios or hazelnuts, both of which go well with vanilla pudding cream.
➡️ My last recommendation is to consume vanilla tart only after it cools to room temperature to avoid draining the custard cream from the dough shell. However, you should eat the tart the day you bake it because the next day the dough dries out and is no longer crispy.
