1) remove fins, tail, head, and intestines from the whole mackerel
2) put fish in a tray with the belly down
3) prepare tomato sauce at home or use some bought sauce from the store
4) season mackerel with salt and pepper to taste
5) add garlic rounds to taste
6) add chopped dill
7) pour the tomato sauce into the tray
8) put the tray in the oven and bake fish at 170 C/340 F for about 25 minutes or until the gravy drops
